Weddings and life events are personal. Those are the kinds of days you need help focusing on what really matters. So if I’m looking out for your most important event, I want you to know I’ve got your details covered, but that I’m a person, too.
So a bit about me? Well, I’m a southern girl to the core, a christian, wife, mother and creative mind. Oh, and I close my eyes when I smile. And I smile a lot! I planned my first event (without my mom even knowing… invitations, and all) when I was only seven, but got “found out” when a friend’s mom called the house with a question about the party! Oops!
My husband and I met when I was designing mock birthday invitations for a computer class we were both enrolled in. Since we got married, I’ve always strived to keep love at the center of our relationship, and our family.
I graduated college from Alabama A&M University (Go Bulldogs!) with a degree in Hospitality Management and a Master’s in Family & Consumer Sciences, that’s right, home economics! I worked my way through college serving as a catering assistant to a private caterer and eventually opened my own catering service and worked as a corporate catering manager at a local college. After changing careers, I worked as a family development specialists for almost 15 years and gained invaluable experience planning workshops, events, and conferences; skills that all serve me well as an event planner.
Those are just some of the pages from my story. Each of us has a story, one that deserves to be honored. I want to tell your story, by making sure it’s at the heart of your event – so you can remember your day filled with more than just lovely details, but with love.
