We’re moving on up

Hi y’all! I know I’ve been incognito for a while.  I apologize for the extended absence.  Life has had me quite busy lately.  We recently sold our house and are in the process of moving.  This was my husband and my first home together and we served as the general contractors.  It was truly a labor of love and gave us almost eight years of great memories.  Not only was it the first home I could put my stamp on, both of our boys were born while we lived here and know it as home; a place they run wild, play and feel comfortable in.  This will be the most difficult part of leaving the house for me.  Whenever we’re away for an extended period of time, I can tell when Solomon and Max are ready to be in their own space again.  As soon as we pull into the driveway (if they’re awake) each of them perks up.
Needless to say, there were tears when we left.  I tear up just thinking about it now.  This was my baby when I didn’t have any human babies to nurture.  It was my pride and joy and I have loved being it’s mama.
A wonderful family has purchased our home and are excited to make their own memories in it.  I’m sure it won’t disappoint them.  Good-bye, my baby!  I’ll miss you!

I’ll be back next week with the rest of the thank-you note series.
Love y’all,
